I have not had a drink since 9th April, when I was last with my mother (who, incidentally, has shrunk approximately 4 inches).

And as I work in GP rooms in health centres I do frequently take advantage of the facilities and measure myself.

I'm just over 6ft 1 today, but that's because I've got a lovely new pair of walking shoes on which have quite a significant heel.

It can't be that.

I started ages ago. I used to be 6ft4 and a half and I’m about 6ft2 and a half now, though I round up to 6ft3. It was noticed in my mid 20s. I have a few health things which normally only happen in older men, so I do often wonder if this means I’ll be out early too!

I’m an alpha working class male who thinks doctors are for pansies. Oi oi.

I just dont get ill in all honesty, I didnt as a child either. I am going to get myself checked now I’m in my 40s as prostate cancer is rife in my family, plus getting fingered for free is a win.
