There's not been enough Hazell chat recently. This vies with Whatever I Do as her best for me.

My Last.fm most listened artist of the last 6 months - with twice as many plays as the number 2 (Rihanna).

The news that my best friend is in talks to have her play at his birthday this year has me in :disco: overload.

Her version definitely benefited from the SAW treatment, the Anne Murray original is a bit plodding. Funny how they both look totally lesbiotic in their respective videos.

I still remember going crazy to this in G-A-Y bar of all places, hearing/seeing it for the first time and thinking "oh THAT'S Hazell Dean" :disco:

Hi Hazell lovers, I am doing a gig with Hazell Dean in a few weeks and in response to asking about accommodation I got this very sad reply:
"Yup well hazel deane is stayin at holiday inn bout 5 mins walk away, its next to bus station" Oh dear...
 
People who are unable to spell Hazell's name correctly should be shot. Or deported.
 
The final shot of the music video is always such a BAFFLING DELIGHT whenever I see it :D

I've just thrown on the vinyl of 'Always' for the first time in years, and I have to say the first 3 songs - They Say It's Gonna Rain, Who's Leaving Who & Turn It Into Love could well be up there with the greatest run of songs on an album ever!
