Hear’Say Reunion! Coming back strong… with Liberty X - to arenas! (3 Viewers)

Obviously Liberty X had a better run, but I don't feel like either group has enough of a residual fanbase in the way some other bands and acts from the era obviously do.

But I wish them well with it.

Liberty X basically stretched out an entire career on the back of Just a Little. Their only other notable single was a cover of one of the most iconic songs ever.

I would agree with this. I liked them at the time, but there's nothing I regularly go back to.

07 Thinking It Over
05 Doin' It
08 Just a Little
07 Got To Have Your Love
08 Holding On For You (Possibly their masterpiece, but largely forgotten)
07 Being Nobody (I get why this was well received, but TBH I think it's a wee bit overrated. Kelli ain't no Chaka!)
03 Jumpin' (Such an underwhelming comeback single)
05 Everybody Cries
06 Song 4 Lovers (Agreeably bizarre but not exactly GOOD)
02 A Night to Remember (Atomic Kitten level slop)
05 X

For Hear'say it'd be

07 Pure & Simple
08 The Way To Your Love
03 Everybody
06 Lovin' Is Easy

Liberty X - everything sucked EXCEPT FOR:

Thinking It Over is a great debut single and still holds up in this household.

My husband loves Holding On For You and I agree that it’s in that genre of winter ballads from a very specific time in pop music (Last Goodbye/Big Big World/Heartbeat/Until Time is Through)

Being Nobody still sounds very exciting and urgent to me.

Song 4 Loverz is great :D I cry everytime. I like how it gave their dying brand a last gust of wind too as it was a surprising HIT. It was also the vehicle to allow Michelle to get one over on Lisa S-L, fabulous timing

I adored Liberty X at the time, and thought poor old X would’ve been a hit had they had any budget.

But with hindsight I was rather DIM.

It’s all pleasant enough, but, along with Blue and Atomic Kitten, they really by default just filled the void the good pop groups earlier from the era (Spice, Steps, Saints, Five etc) left behind when they split because they all hated each other.

Being Nobody was a tap in. The bootleg was so big that it didn't matter who made the 'official' version. It was the same with Sugababes doing "Freak Like Me" cut with "Are Friends Electric" but Sugababes took the opportunity and ran with it.

I can only assume the omission of Never Had A Dream Come True is a consequence of your ongoing feud with Tina Barrett.

Will Hear’say just be the opening support act for Liberty X then? Such a bizarre concept. I can see it Sabrina-ing but hoopla would be camp

They could easily pad it out to an hour by adding Kool & the Gang.

And of course, by also giving QUEEN OF CLUBZ Suzanne Shaw her own spot.

I agree....like what is going to be the closing song? Just A Little OR Pure & Simple?

Slightly rhetorical question as they would close with a 'all group song' but STILL...Whos on first who's on last? Kym Marsh's ego is still VERY BIG

There needs to be an entire one hour segment in the middle where Kym sings the entirety of Standing Tall.

In some ways Kym Marsh was the prototype Cheryl Cole but in a relationship with a teenager

Myleene TOO BUSY!

Speaking on Loose Women on October 5, Myleene said: “They were really sweet and they did include me in the discussions but it’s not something I can commit to at the moment, I just really can’t.

“I know they are still figuring out a lot of the moving parts of it and until they do that, there’s nothing set in stone. For me, I’m just super busy.

“I’m committed to you guys [at Loose Women]. I’ve got my work. I love the guys dearly, it was an incredibly important time in my life. It taught me so much, epic songs and moments like that.”

“I would say never say never about anything.

“Because, I don’t really agree about revisiting the past but then people say to me, like, ‘you went back in the jungle’ and I went back and had another bob! So, I’m a walking contradiction in that sense!

“Like I said, until there are things set in stone it’s very difficult to commit to something that is so up in the air. I think they are figuring things out as well, but I really do appreciate that they included me in the initial discussions.”

She also said she'll be "in the front row cheering them on" :)

What does Kym Marsh do these days? Does she still present Morning Live?

She was Cruella DeVille in a touring musical version of 101 Dalmations a year or so back too.

A treat for the regions

I am guttted I missed the run of Singal White Female at the Brighton Dome. Genuinely!

I have hope maybe she'll record a soundtrack.

Myleene kicked out of the group chat
