Basically back in the day I was in year 9 and there was this girl in my tutor group who smoked, she was called Sammy (she was doing bongs and stuff too) and we hung around with her and I just asked for a try of it one day and just coughed and didn't know how to do it properly. But then I learnt and it just went from there really and I quickly got hooked :( I smoke a vape nowadays and I do miss cigarettes but HATED the rancid smell. I think smoking is incredibly addictive and not sure i'll ever be able to stop altogether

Actually I did go through an extremely brief phase of smoking while very drunk on nights out, but that was back when you could smoke in clubs so basically over a thousand years ago

I think I have been actively smoking since I was around 14? It’s always been my filthy habit.

I tried smoking once and it just wasn't for me. This Nicky Rush everyone kept telling me about just never turned up :(

Its so gripping though, I don't know how i'd ever stop it altogether. As soon as I wake up I grab my vape

I think you have to want to sweetheart.
I, personally have never even tried to give up as I find it quite comforting and enjoy smoking.

I done a 10k chili run yesterday and smoke maybe 5 cigs a day. I run easy 5k a day, and I am healthy. Smoking is my release, and I one million percent believe that exercise helps my mental health.

Never did, don't want to have terrible skin until very old, thank you.

Never got into cigarettes and the smell these days makes me nauseous.

Smoked a lot of hookah up till I moved to Canada. It was just the thing to do as a teenager since drinking wasn’t that big, I miss it sometimes and could smoke the one off if I’m ever back in the ME.

Just a fact, I've never used a cream or anything, literally nothing, but good for you if that helps. x

Why so aggressive :D? Let the smokers smoke in peace.

Cute. My Dad was from Scottish Italian, and I think a lot of it is genes. Probably the same for you if you live in the sun? 🤷‍♀️

Oh absolutely it's good genes above all. Also I try to avoid sun as much as possible.

Even my make up has a big SPF in it. I am a beauty therapist, and know how to protect my skin. Of course genes are the major player. Mens hair goes from their grandfather. I have worked in the industry for a long time. Preaching to the choir.

I smoked for about 13 years but i don't think it hurt my skin.

I do have terrible skin but that's largely down to my terrible family.

That's interesting, I never thought of make up protecting your skin, but it makes sense. And even when I really don't need moisturising or creams, I admit I DETEST anything oily on my skin, even cream on my hands. I only do sunscreen because I have to when going to the beach, and it's a really unpleasant feeling.

Of course. I married an Italian and my children have very dark skin as my did Dad too BUT I always wear a base and foundation with a high SPF. I’m not sure if you wear make up but if you do I wear a fab Charlotte Turbelly foundation that not only hides every crevice, but protects your skin too. My skin care routine is always clinique, but I found the Charlotte Tilbury foundation worked the best for me.x

:D! The idea of wearing make up all day, dear god, when just applying any cream is disgusting. It would kill me.

It’s very light darling. Honestly feels like an SPF. It is not heavy/ thick on your skin at all.

Actually, so much better than an SPF. Moisurier baby. If you have a good skin care routine any guy or girl can look their best.
