My 20s were good before they were rudely interrupted by a pandemic

Following this evening's revelations, now frantically googling this.

This made me proper LOL :D

There's been a fresh crop of slightly younger newbies. But once more votes come in I suspect it to be less weighed that way. All the old folk are in bed, ready to get up at 5am to fetch the paper.

Our average age will have increased without doubt. We've not attracted enough young new members over the years. And us old ones aren't dying off, YET.

I was early/mid thirties when this place started and I was one of the very oldest then. Now that's about the average.

I may look like a haggard old fool, but i've still another two full years (and a month) of my thirties to enjoy yet.
Oh no offence meant, I just thought you were a bit older than me, by months.

I don’t think I was really aware of aches and pains until my mid 40s.

But by fuck it's like something aches every day now.

Based on absolutely nothing, 33 seems like the best age. Young enough, rich enough, hot enough

The 30s were even I started paying more than the minimum payment each month on my credit card.

The worst thing about your thirties I found was it was the decade when people close to you seem to start DYING.

I mean obviously it happens before that, but it's rare. At some point though, I started going to more funerals than weddings.

No aches or pains here.

For all the shit things in my genetics, I am blessed with a family with no history of back issues, decent eyesight/hair coverage for another 20 years.

EARLY 30s, OLD ENOUGH to remember the TRAGEDY of Nicki French being selected over SISTER SWAY, but still more than enough to participate in a RAVE UP TOTTENHAM WITH THE BOYS (remember THEM?) :disco:

I'm genuinely agog at @Kate and @Ag being in 40s age bracket. I had you both down as mid-thirties.
Personality wise I'm an immature 22. I've always looked younger. Haven't been ID'd for about 5 years but don't think I look 40 yet. That said a lot of shit is catching up atm!

On some level I agree. Then I remember (a) they aren't THAT much younger than me, and (b) they are a fair bit older than posters I think are young like VoR, who isn't that young himself any more.

We both turned 40 during the pandemic. My birthday was back in April when lockdown was new and exciting.

Did you like it? I found my April birthday extremely depressing

Oh don't! Ever since poor Nick was shot its been a couple a year at least.

I must say the increasingly bad hangovers are a downside though. Can't believe I used to be out clubbing til 3am then be up and showered for 9am lectures.

I hope the HAIR COVERAGE includes your BACK.
