I’ve just noticed that the Damage Reported area on the Beirut map isn’t even shaped like a proper circle. What on earth is one supposed to believe?

Well OBVIOUSLY, but I don’t think the maps of London and New York are good comparison points. Anyway, all we need to know is that this is absolutely horrendous for Beirut on every level, and that’s enough.

Thankfully it’s a coastal city, meaning that about half that affected circle was on water.

I actually thought that the day after then thought it was probably quite insensitive when so many people had lost their lives. But yes, agreed.
