Waiting for a call on where I'm going. If it's beyond half an hour I'm out!
 
She's taking ages, which is telling me there's not much about.
 
And still nothing. I'm OK, glad I'm still capable of waking up at 5.30am.
 
Ah do you get phone calls literally on the morning they want you to work? How long can a placement last?

I'm on the bus to work and some annoying child/teen is fuming at the thought that I might have got on the bus before him if he chose to stand in the wrong place at the bus stop 🤦🏻‍♀️

I had no intention of pushing in....bare in mind the bus was empty, but had it have pulled up my end I absolutely would have got on before him to piss him off.
 
Ooh and now a grown man having a screaming match with his girlfriend on the phone.
 
Top tip: don't over whisk it, lumps will fade during cooking, but keeping the bubbles in will provide a thicker pancake which is easier to turn.

Or buy the premade bottle/tub things you just add milk to. I did a couple of years ago when I couldn't be arsed faffing around with flour.
 
I only tried the readymade stuff once and the pancakes were hanging, so bland.

To be fair Kylie's sounds OK apart from the lemon, the maple syrup might be a sauce too far but I'd have tried one anyway.
 
I actually don't even have a cooker at the moment. We had a gas leak before Xmas and the cooker was switched off. We've been using a hot plate since then.

Nowhere near as thick. We don't pile them up, in theory we cover them with filling and fold them over like a calzone.
