Undecided. We did the exact same thing in 2012. I remember because we had a quiz after, and there was a question about the winner of Eurovision which was a couple of days before . And I did enjoy myself, but they let us choose who we were paired up with. This time they are going to purposely choose colleagues we don't work with.

I don't really want a day sick though. Currently mulling over the possibility of wrenching my shoulder which would make rowing too painful, but I wouldn't really be SICK as such, so I'll offer to take it as a day's leave instead...

Moopy, if I can't find a friend on Facebook, does that mean they have simply unfriended me? But for the fact I can't find their account at all, and they are no longer friends with any of our mutual friends as well.

I'm not concerned about being unfriended if that is the case, it's more that I'm aware she was diagnosed with cancer some time ago, but had been responding well to treatment. I don't remember the last time I saw her post anything, but thought of her randomly yesterday and searched for her but couldn't find her.

I don't think she's just deactivated her account as looking through my friend list, I have a few which just show as deactivated - but she's just disappeared.

Can an account even be deleted, rather than deactivated? And I'm assuming after a death, someone else would have to contact Facebook to request it, if they want a change. I've got two friends who died some time ago where the accounts remain as they were, and which has been changed to an 'in memory of' type affair.

If they’ve just unfriended you then they’ll still appear in search and as friends with other people. They may have deactivated the account.
