So this turned out to be one of the best movies of the year. Funny, sad, wonderfully acted. Dottie was such an angel. It started to drag EVER so slightly for me around the time of the "drugs", as I just thought oh he's not having trouble with the coppers AGAIN is he?, but I was totally back on board when he was introduced to the woman who also had tourettes, and started his ambassador work.

I'm here for using spunk for milk, because at least it's not exploiting a cow :) Starbucks take NOTE

The impact it had on me, I'm now listening to Oasis on repeat! I loved getting to see clips of the real life people in the credits, I almost CHOKED UP at Queen Liz (rip).

The actual guy is from my home town and I believe a fair chunk of it was filmed there? If so i’ll be watching for LOCATION SPOTTING reasons alone.

Trailer looks good - my only beef is Maxine Peake’s DISTRACTINGLY bad Scottish accent.

I really, really liked this. Just brilliantly done, with great performances. I got super emotional towards the end.

I liked how it didn't shy away from the fact that Tourette's is both hell for the people with it and their loved ones... but often also really fucking funny.

FUCK THE QUEEN!
