I would like a list of the DEAD PEOPLE to have hit #1 single in the UK (2 Viewers)

I'm not convinced. What did the charts say at the time? Is there a good definition?
 
It was an AA. I remember it usually being listed, but almost always ignored.

I am learning a lot more than I expected to about 'The Stonk' tonight.
 
I always wanted that Smile video to exist but I never saw it. Now I have and it's a shame.
 
I've just watched The Stonk and it was worse than I remember, despite the all star cast of Baroness Benjamin, Lesley Joseph, Annabel Giles and Paul Daniels.

But it did raise a lot of money for hungry people.

The Kutner et al rival chart book to Guinness lists The Stink as a double A but the Guinness book doesn't.
 
A few dead celebs (Anne Kirkbride, Jimmy Saville, Ronnie Corbett) featured on the Peter Kay/Tony Christie 'Amarillo' video.
 
I don't think we should count video appearances. Just credited artists on the single only.

I wonder how long it will be until that happens. The only major act I can think of immediately that are all dead are the Ramones, but they obviously never had a #1.
 
Actually it already has - all the members of the Jimi Hendrix Experience are dead

Going through my list now. Kitty Kallen, who had a number 1 in 1954, is FINALLY DEAD at the age of 93, although I'm still shocked that KAY STARR, who had a #1 in 1952 is still going.

There's a lot of acts for whom I have no information but I the first one I've found so far is the duo THE KALIN TWINS, who had a #1 in 1958 with When. They are both DEAD.
 
Jet Harris and Tony Meehan, who had a number 1 away from the Shadows, are both DEAD
 
DOZY from Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick and Tich is ANOTHER death that occurred since 2013
