not sure if he's worthy of his own thread on here (although 'There Are More Questions Than Answers' is a stone cold classic by anyone's standards), but he had a #1 in 1975 with 'Tears On My Pillow'.

I've not done the 60s. It's somewhere in between the 50s and 70s, so it's is safe to assume about 40-50% of them are dead.

I grew tired of going through the charity records. Amazingly Band Aid appears to only have one fatality (Parfitt).

Some of the Dakotas, and Billy J. Kramer, are alive. :) I recently discovered them on one of the TV music channels a few days ago, singing a song written by Paul McCartney and John Lennon, 'From A Window' . 🪟🎶

Poor Jane probably deserved her own thread. She was the oldest living chart topper at the time of her death. I believe that title now falls to Pat Boone.

I'd never even entertained the possibility that Pat Boone might still be alive, and I've just found out he's only 91 :o
