It works off YouTube rather than Spotify. It's NOT AS GOOD as JQBX, but it does not require you to have a paid subscription, so that's the price you pay I guess.

The main advantage is that you get to watch the videos as well as hear the music. The problem is that finding the right version of the video via the search is TOUGH. If you're on a laptop you can search for it in YouTube in another tab and then put the YouTube link into the BeatSense search. But I've not tried it on a phone so I imagine it is a bit trickier.

So if anyone fancies a go tomorrow night perhaps?

The other annoying thing I found using it the other week is you don't have your own separate "deck", your upcoming songs are bunged in with everyone else's. So when there's lots of people it's hard to rearrange your own songs and the scroll doesn't seem to work. So you just have to choose carefully I guess

Can confirm it is a bit trickier than when I’ve used it on a desktop but manageable! Thanks for setting it up for those of us too cheap for Spotify premium
