Series 3 started on HBO in the US on Sunday. BBC coming at a “later date” this year :(
 
First two episodes watched. Kinda don’t wanna binge it all! Glad to see everyone’s still completely fucked up.
 
Wasn’t expecting much from the Rishi episode after that fucking awful episode in Ted Lasso about Coach Beard but this was all kinds of good.

Quite love/hate Rishi as a side bit so was nice to get his story fleshed out - most of it pretty devastating tbh. His bit in the casino was quite unpleasant viewing and tbh I was kinda rooting for him to be completely fucked over with his bet on Sterling but Venetia got her little say in the lift at least.

I have one episode left but THIS SERIES HAS BEEN SO FUCKING GOOD. The best yet, and a worthy successor to s1 after s2 meandered a bit for me.

The Rishi ep has been the highlight, but I've also loved the stuff with Yasmin maybe killing her dad (!) and Kit Harington and his pleasing arse. The only character I'm not really living for as much is Harper - she's great and was MVP last time, so I'm sad to see her sidelined somewhat with the lady with the big glasses.

P.S. RIP Sarah Parrish you are wiv the angels now xx

That final episode really had it all going on didn’t it.

I know it’s an obvious thing to say but I really don’t know where they’re going to go for series 4? Feels like it will just 4 individuals scattered around the world?

It was absolutely insane in places. The final scene with Rishi :D!

Loved the stuff with Yasmin and Rob. And yes it felt very final for the former in particular, with no clear continuation for Harper or Eric, and Rob's new venture didn't exactly feel like it had legs story-wise. S4 will surely need to be quite a significant reboot, whether it features them all back or not. INTRIGUING

The Rishi scene genuinely had me speechless!

I really loved the Yas and Rob montage, it was kinda cheesy but worked in the dreamy state they were in. Rob left knowing she truly loves him at least after 6 years of cock teasing!

I hope they can bring it back to the workplace somehow. The scenes on the sales floor were some of my favourite.

 
I've only just watched season 3. The mid part of the season I struggled with a bit for some reason, though I agree the Rishi episode was excellent.

Great finale, it really did feel wrapped up and the Yasmin-Rob saga especially closed off. I read that a longer time jump is expected before season 4 but I imagine there are still going to have to be quite some leaps to bring enough of them back into the same orbit again.
 
Nooooooooo! I would have thought when you sign these up to a series you put the actors into some binding deal that only really suits the studio (like X-Factors famous 5 album deal).

Also from that article Kit returns (hopefully that means we get to see Yas being fucking miserable for the rest of her life) and they want it to be a corporate thriller :disco:
 
I do wonder how big this show actually is but they keep making it so they must be happy with it
 
I guess with streaming it just needs to be something someone would consider watching even if they don’t.

As long as a customer thinks “I would watch that” and can infer value from their £7.99 a month then it’s a win.

This took a little while for me to get my bearings, it feels so different as a show compared to where it started from. Subtitles were definitely back on too. There are a lot of new characters but they are interesting.

I’m glad Sweetpea has a bigger role now, not sure of Harpers new fuck boy like is he supposed to be an annoying as fuck Gen Z borderline conflicted Incel?

Yeah deffo a subtitles show! If only for the background quips that get missed without.
 
It’s scaled up a lot from the scrappy intern show but that was a marvellous opener, glad the show’s ambitions are matching the characters.
