Insomnia Thursday

Actually yeah Mandy and I never go east. We've been to Brighton and the Yorkshire Moors but otherwise we always go west, Devon, Cornwall, Wales, Lakes etc.

This is quite the adventure :disco:
 
You could follow the coast east from Birling Gap and Seven Sisters (gorgeous btw), then all the way up the east coast, and I've not been anywhere until you get to Edinburgh.

I've been to Yorkshire and Newcastle, but not the coast.
 
Ooh Birling Gap does look beautiful.

I've never been to Newcastle. I also want to do Norfolk. I need to venture East.

My mum went to Lincoln on holiday recently because her mum was from there. She said it's lovely.
 
I'm very upset with myself for not losing two stone by tomorrow. I've had enough time. But also, I'm eating yumyums and enjoying every mouthful 🤷🏻‍♀️
 
The Dartford tunnel is very unimpressive. I expected it to be longer.

It's a fucking tunnel, what did you expect?

You get to go on the QE2 bridge on the way back though, with beautiful views of the industrial heartland of Thames Estuary :disco:
 
I expected it to be longer, we went through the Hindhead one at that seemed more impressive.

Oh we saw the bridge and said it looked much nicer than the tunnel. Ok I'll look forward to that.

We're now on our way to Mersea as it doesn't seem to be raining 🤞
 
There is some very nice houses on Mersea Island. I think we could just about afford a caravan tho.
 
I know Wetherspoons are pretty shit, but the one in Colchester is an old theatre 😍

Turned up at the cinema for the Barbie movie. There's kids from one of my classes here :MerylPerplexed:
 
We looked at going to the Odeon here for Barbie until we saw it was £14 per person 😬
 
All Moopers have the best time tomorrow and lots of pictures please. I didn’t realise it was TOMORROW! Eeek.
 
I've not been on a more than one person Moopmeet for over 13 years. I saw Lolly a couple of weeks ago, and Cwej popped into the shop. But prior to that it was before I was a lesbian :o

Oh she's here :D she was my driver for the break away. The shop is being looked after by staff.
