Well...

I had weaned myself off a lot of forums over the years - the usual stuff around music, Homosexuality™, yada, yada, yada - but found myself lingering on an ABBA forum. Which was all very nice until I had the temerity to call out some transphobia and, well, let's just say a lot of hair-pulling ensued and I deleted my profile. I just knew there had to be saner people on the internet (beyond FB, Insta, etc. - all of which I abandoned) and a little rummaging about took me to the ABBA chats here. I was also pleased to see a thread about terfs. So, for a while, I basically did the internet equivalent of hanging around the bushes in an unbuttoned trench coat, lurking and reading. We might all yet live to regret my arrival here, but what's the worst that could happen?
