Along with the Slovak PM assassination attempt it's beginning to feel like we're writing the "What caused World War Three?" chapter of future history books right now.

Maybe Putin will accidentally fall out of a window.

I’ve seen a lot of speculation on Twitter that this is ’obviously’ a US-led hit job.

However, there were two candidates considered frontrunners to replace 84 year old Ali Khamenei as Iran’s Supreme Leader.

One was Ebrahim Reisi. The other was… Khamenei’s son.

Sorry to Iran's supreme leader but I feel like the definition of MARTYRDOM is very loose these days.

Not that I’m up on PERSIAN POLITICS these days but isn’t the Ayatollah the true ruler of Iran and the religious clerics pretty much run the country? They can install and remove any president they want and they’re pretty much the reason for the country being so conservative, strict and isolated?

I might be wrong but does this change anything for Iran?
