It's Sunday and there's no God

I didn't even realise there wasn't a daily thread. Strange days indeed.

Apparently we've "lost" an hour this morning. Good riddance, I say.

An hour of my precious weekend gone. An hour closer to work. If only I was a pregnant 80 year old with type 1 Diabetes I'd have twelve weeks off stretching ahead of me.

Is it just me or is Olly packing a reasonably impressive cock in there?

Someone clearly is still drunk from last night, but I'm here for it...

In OTHER news, I've just cracked open the tomato juice and have whipped up a rather strong lunchtime Bloody Mary. :disco:

I do love a Bloody Mary but I have no tomatoes or tomato juice.

I took the dog out for a walk this morning and then went for a walk myself as she can’t go all that far anymore. Rambled for a few hours and did not come in to contact with a single soul.

I LOVE a Bloody Mary. With far too much Worcestershire sauce than is strictly necessary.

I haven't been out of the house today and I'm not sure I'm going to bother. Which is probably why I'm KINDA GRUMPY.

I have 13 episodes of Masterchef to watch. I think I may well cocoon and get stuck in.

I can never stay in bed

possibly because I don’t smoke in the bedroom otherwise I’d be there all day

The weather is outrageous . I went for a morning stroll and the amount of people taking selfies next to the huge crashing waves was immense . Adult I waited but no one got swept away

Spent the last 4 hours locked in my office making some lofi kind of music. I haven't really touched a DAW properly for years, and I was never that good in the first place, but its making me happy.

As much as I don't really want to go to work tomorrow, I know that the fact I have to is keeping me sane.

Oh the 2-3 days a week I still go to work are the only thing keeping somewhat sane as well!

Both times I've found maternity leave incredibly lonely. I was due back at work in a few weeks time, so to have had another 3 months added onto my leave is not good for my sanity. Although at least I have Mr Star at home and I don't have to worry about who is looking after the children. So every cloud etc.

I'm sure (well at least I hope) most of us are fortunate enough that things could be much worse. Still hard, though.
