I had no idea this was still going. Is Ailsa still in it, and that hideous child she had with Alf?Hi moopy. I finally have a day off. I plan on watching Home & Away in my pyjamas all day.
No Ailsa died! But Roo, their daughter is back in it and all grown up and old. Alf is still in itI had no idea this was still going. Is Ailsa still in it, and that hideous child she had with Alf?

Really well!! The Bank Holiday was ridiculously busy! So busy that when we closed yesterday I ended up being disappointed we hadn't made as much compared to the last few days@Rachey how is everything going with your new business venture?

My love emoji is for the first three lines of this post only.Really well!! The Bank Holiday was ridiculously busy! So busy that when we closed yesterday I ended up being disappointed we hadn't made as much compared to the last few days
But the locals have been incredible. So supportive. People from across the island have been to see us. The local radio station has promoted us. And the tourists seem to love it.
We got told not to bother aiming to children as they don't like fudge, but kids are loving it.
On the downside, I'm abs exhausted, my feet hurt more than I knew possible, and I spent Sunday afternoon at the Urgent treatment centre at the hospital only to be diagnosed with shingles![]()

Yeah it seems like we've opened at a good time. And the island is heaving. I just hope it continues at least until September. We also need to start pushing wedding favours etc but we've had no time. The like is for things going so well, NOT for the diagnosis of shingles. I am so pleased for you both, but these things are far from easy, I know. Fantastic time to launch too as I would imagine that since most will be having staycations for the foreseeable business will be BOOMING.
What sort of evil child doesn’t like fudge? Ugly Duncan judges them.We got told not to bother aiming to children as they don't like fudge, but kids are loving it.
Thanks Rita <3 I'm off today after 7 days in the shop so I'm doing absolutely nothing. You will be terribly run down and tired if you have shingles though @Rachey darling, so make sure you still take time to recover, and recharge. I know that it will be difficult to find time for yourself just now, but I don’t want you running yourself in to the ground.![]()
Omg Duncan!!What sort of evil child doesn’t like fudge? Ugly Duncan judges them.

Yeah, how do you plan to compensate for off season?Yeah it seems like we've opened at a good time. And the island is heaving. I just hope it continues at least until September. We also need to start pushing wedding favours etc but we've had no time.
Thanks Ag.Shingles is pretty rough for an adult, rest up!
Glad to hear the business is going well.

Wedding favours, chirstmas presents, we've had quite a lot of interest for small wholesale as well. It's just not something we can even think about at the moment. But if we make enough in the summer, a lot of shops close for 3 months over the winterYeah, how do you plan to compensate for off season?
Thanks Rita <3 I'm off today after 7 days in the shop so I'm doing absolutely nothing.
No, my dissertation was UK based.I see Google are celebrating gay rights activist Frank Kameny today@Ag did he get a mention in your dissertation?
Yep we're still friends. I see his posts. I randomly like things he posts but I never get the same back. Which is fine, if I bore him, but just delete meI’ve just had a look and he’s still listed as a friend on your account.
THE PLOT THICKENS
I can be quite uninteresting

That would make me sad. I could send him some fudge to tempt himMaybe he has a secret fudge phobia![]()
