I've seen Wednesdays you people wouldn't believe

Hi moopy. I finally have a day off. I plan on watching Home & Away in my pyjamas all day.
 
Morning moopy. I have no plans today, other than going to the supermarket and having a shave.

No Ailsa died! But Roo, their daughter is back in it and all grown up and old. Alf is still in it

I can't actually remember what Ailsa died of. It was hundreds of years ago.

Really well!! The Bank Holiday was ridiculously busy! So busy that when we closed yesterday I ended up being disappointed we hadn't made as much compared to the last few days :(

But the locals have been incredible. So supportive. People from across the island have been to see us. The local radio station has promoted us. And the tourists seem to love it.

We got told not to bother aiming to children as they don't like fudge, but kids are loving it.

On the downside, I'm abs exhausted, my feet hurt more than I knew possible, and I spent Sunday afternoon at the Urgent treatment centre at the hospital only to be diagnosed with shingles :(

The like is for things going so well, NOT for the diagnosis of shingles. I am so pleased for you both, but these things are far from easy, I know. Fantastic time to launch too as I would imagine that since most will be having staycations for the foreseeable business will be BOOMING.
 
You will be terribly run down and tired if you have shingles though @Rachey darling, so make sure you still take time to recover, and recharge. I know that it will be difficult to find time for yourself just now, but I don’t want you running yourself in to the ground. :kim:

Yeah it seems like we've opened at a good time. And the island is heaving. I just hope it continues at least until September. We also need to start pushing wedding favours etc but we've had no time.

I felt rough for a few days, had awful neck ache and my neck skin was sore. I put it down to having a cold / covid vacc / shop tiredness etc. Probably should have picked up on the symptoms a bit better :D

Wedding favours, chirstmas presents, we've had quite a lot of interest for small wholesale as well. It's just not something we can even think about at the moment. But if we make enough in the summer, a lot of shops close for 3 months over the winter

I think Sheena has unfollowed me on FB. Is that a valid reason to delete :confused:

I've decided over the last few weeks that some people I thought were friends, actually have shown no interest or support in my life at all. And I get that we all have busy lives, but no point having fake friends.

(That part isn't aimed at Sheena, just in general. But I noticed he's one of the only Moopists on my FB to never ever interact with me).

Yep we're still friends. I see his posts. I randomly like things he posts but I never get the same back. Which is fine, if I bore him, but just delete me :confused: I can be quite uninteresting :D

I really like Instagram. It's sad more business friendly.
 
Personally I have people who I'm happy to be friends with on Facebook/Instagram/whatever as I like them overall... but for whatever reason decided at one point I didn't need to see their posts.

I would also absolutely hate to be called out on it :D
