JADE - That's Showbiz Baby! (Sep 12)

So Natural Disaster the 'sort of' next singal?

I think they could go with 'Before You Break My Heart' for Christmas/Winter with a appropriately themed video :disco:

Given how none of the singles before gained traction on streaming to any great degree, I think it was probably to be expected - or certainly once the sales/streaming ratio the first week for the album was known. Practically all albums which hold up well after the first week or two are doing it because of streaming.

I'm interested to see what Perrie can manage in week two given she's already significantly below Jade on streaming numbers and still falling a lot more quickly.

It’s closely mirroring CMAT’s chart run so far, and she was out of the 100 on week four. Unless you’re either a Greatest Hits or a Sabrina Carpenter level star, it’s virtually impossible to have a sustained chart run these days.

Well I can’t believe CMAT’s THAT LOW AS WELL

Sam Fender really bucks the trend in that regard I've noticed. His latest album has hovered around the Top 100 since its release, often bouncing up for a couple of weeks and then falling again, and his last album did the same. But yes, the chart is largely a mess now thanks to streaming.

He's quite LOW KEY ESTABLISHED.

Anyone that isn’t a streaming behemoth (Sabrina, Ariana etc) is lucky to get more than about two weeks in the chart as once actual sales are done after the first week or two there is little chance of them remaining.

So the fact she is still top 50 on week three is really a rather good result, and looks like she may well rack up a few more as well along with an easy silver and then gold certification, which is surely a good result?

The tour setlist is pretty epic and impressive given she's only had one album. I like that she doesn't rely on Little Mix songs too and keeping those songs fun for the festivals, and just does one
Wasabi
she also does

I’m fucking dead after that gig.

Saw her live tonight. It was a short gig (70 mins) but very fabulous.

The Madonna into Kelly Llorenna medley felt particularly me-coded. :disco:
I’d say 70-75 mins is about standard for someone with one album. She performed every track plus Frozen. There wasn’t much else she could perform apart from more Little Mix songs.

Setlist FM says two songs were restarted in Glasgow.

WHAT DID YOU DO?

I feel like her streams are quite impressive when looking at her top 10

Before You Break My Heart is on the Radio 1 B-List, I didn't realise it was being pushed as a single :disco:

Is this a deluxe tease? With two Madonna images - hopefully not just the inclusion of Frozen

I'm not completely feeling the rearrangements of these songs for this Prom show so far.

No, but with Frozen it showed her voice. I am for anything that has Jade and the like on our TV's (Linear TV) in this day an age

Jade's great but I don't think her own material for the most part lends itself to the orchestral reinvention. It worked much better for Dua.

The Clubland medley though :disco:

That's Showbiz Baby! The Encore

15 Church - 3:42
16 This Is What We Dance For - 3:07
17 Best You Could - 3:28
18 Use Me - 3:21
19 Frozen - 3:21
20 If My Heart Was A House - 2:54
21 Tar - 3:35

no date or announcement yet but probably in the next two weeks

I wonder will they push any as a single.

I found myself obsessed with the album for a couple of weeks but haven't gone back to it much.

I already feel sure "If My Heart Was A House" is going to be RIGHT UP MY STREET

Church is the single! the general sound of the new stuff is clubby eurobops apparently :disco:

I still find the white space pretty cheap looking but it beats the original artwork
