Well she’s the last one to release and none of the others have really hit the mark. So I think it is a bit of a surprise. And she was never the most popular member with the fans.

It is still early days though but I do think this has LEGS.
 
I also always felt Jade was the fan fav!

I think Perrie just has more followers due to the “lifestyle” :eyes:
 
I have no stats to back this up, but my impression was that before she managed to burn down every iota of goodwill, Jesy was the standout personality of the group - at least in the early days.

Jade definitely seemed to emerge as the group went on though.

I always assumed Perrie was the Liam Payne of the group. The most prominent and the "fave" during the group peak, but quickly becomes the least interesting and aimless once left to their own devices.

Jesy is obviously the problematic Zayn.

Leigh-Anne is Niall, who will forever fly under the radar, but will also be the most grounded and stable in 10 years' time, and everybody will retrospectively revise her to be their favourite all along.

Which leaves Jade. She obviously isn't rubbish old Louis, so that means she is Harry who will conquer the world with sequins and feather boas, and she'll have a gay old time doing it.
 
This fucking SLAPS. What a debut, I really hope it manages to make #1 eventually as it really deserves it.
 
She’s at #5 in the Monday midweeks after the Sunday streams have been added in, but it’s very close between 2 and 5.

Yep top ten should be a lock. Flies up the HH playlist to #16 as well, so the fact she has stabilised already on Spotify is great. Also makes Apple’s top ten as well.

She just announced on a stream chat thing that physicals are coming and they’re working on them right now, but she thinks that longevity is more important than a high chart position.
 
There’s also more versions of the song coming and she said she did NOT expect this amount of success. She sounded quite overwhelmed. :disco:
 
Fabulous for day four. Up to #8 on Apple Music and still #1 on iTunes as well.
 
Jesy went up 7 to 17 on day 4. So I'm cautious about it being any real evidence of it beginning to stabilise in the mid/long term just yet. Her next five days saw her fall 22-27-38-44-50, so I'll be interested to see how Jade holds compared to that. Jade also still maintaining a healthy lead in terms of number of streams.

Perrie was still falling on day 4 though, down 6 to 41.
 
I think people were interested to hear what Jesy had come out with, but the mixture of the song being an utter dog and the dreadful promotion efforts quickly kneecapped it. This feels likely to be more stable.

Also these comparisons to Jesy's first single performance - Jesy's song launched with WAY more noise. Not necessarily positive noise, but lots of noise, which would impact the first few days. SURELY Jade's song has more longevity...

The comparisons are relevant in terms of anticipating chart run and performance in the first week, and so far in they aren't that dissimilar. I suspect (and certainly hope) that we will see their paths separate over the next few days, though.
 
I didn’t actually realise Jesy held up as relatively well as she did throughout week one. It was screwed after that, but still.

This should have much more consistency I imagine and hope.

I think she’s now released a club version and instrumental to get a few more iTunes sales? Ones already top ten :D
 
If you compare how well they did on day four compared to day one, Jade is down 25%, Jesy was down 31%, and Perrie was down 43%.

Jade hit a million streams in the UK on day 4, Jesy day 6, and Perrie day 7.
