Rollercoaster is such a strange song. I think it's the beat - it just SKITS ALONG without hitting any kind of coherent rhythm. it really sounds like there was a mouse in the studio just running all over the decks.

somehow it completely works! it's a really addictive jam. the brief cutaway to a more classic jan melody in the middle 8 is great.

retro disco but make it ethereal and futuristic. and genuinely very sultry. it occupies its own soundscape and could've been the blueprint for this record. as it is it's just a gorgeous one-off.

love the DARK ROOM WITH LASERS concept of the video too.
