JARK.FM 4th EDITION (2NITE 9PM)

The house piano in this "Piece of Your Heart" remix really elevates it

track 6 is from Mary's THE LONDON SESSIONS album in which she worked with MK, Disclosure and various other UK dance producers du jour. It was not just very good but completely ludicrous, no more so than PICK ME UP (PILOT) :disco:

I saw her at the Roundhouse to promote this album. She was SUBLIME.

HOW ARE MY GIRLS TONIGHT? I’M IN A FOUL MOOD.
are we kicking off therapy hour? :disco: TALK TO AUNTY JARK.

she's listening!

Gagging at Jark listening to this Faithless track in his Cheshire suburb.
It's a fucking banger. I have paid them no attention in a good decade but this has had an effect on my gunny.

I like that Sophie made almost no effort to make this sound different from the original

this is genuinely the greatest gift Queen SEB has given us in 13 years :disco: I don't even LIKE THE ALCAZAR VERSION THAT MUCH. I guess I'm not THAT kind of queen.

I made my thoughts made on the sample in Crying at the Discoteque the other week and I SHAN’T repeat them again out of respect for Madame Jark.

there's an interlude coming up shortly which will make BASIC BOGAN SLUTS out of all of us :disco:

I'll pick you from the crowd...
don't come to me.

:disco:

@RJN I know you're into this dom top energy from top 40 disco queen Dua.

Is this on Club Future Nostalgia? It’s very much passed me by!
Yes! I put all the best remixes from that into my own playlist if you want to CHERRY PICK from the CREME DE LA CREME.

Love Again (Horse Meat Disco) is a SLINKY GAG.

I was a virgin and he was not...
he was, I think a drug addict already...

moy SISTAH is dating this guy I'm seeing's BROTHER
so they go off for a WANDER and I KNOY what they're going to DOY

:D :disco:

I don't know how this Automatic remix will go down.

Personally I find covers/re-dos of Automatic TOTALLY OVERDONE and invariably none of them live up to the original or the Ultra Nate version (which I until very recently THOUGHT WAS THE ORIGINAL). But this one has a nice, dirty pay-off eventually...

It really emphasizes the desperate nature of the lyrics

the BLEEP BLOOP synthline that comes in halfway through SHREDS MY GUNNY INTO A THOUSAND SHARDS!

I'm dancing SO HARD IN MY CHAIR that I think I will shortly DISLOCATE A SHOULDER.
