COME THROUGH GOSPEL PIANO

Oh the nights @ Garlands I've had to this song... surrounded by drag queens and balloons falling from the ceiling. This was always the midnight song. Fabulous times.

Shined on Me is absolutely ridiculous :D

i've got PEACE
deep in my SOUL!
I've got LOVE
makin' me HOLE :disco:

if this doesn't get Tisch to a 4:30/km average over 20km I don't know WHAT WILL

Check out the 12" original. The piano breakdown is fucking MONUMENTAL.

a week or 2 ago I fell into a weird TRANCE and listened to this extended mix of Bad Company 3 or 4 times in a row. I think I was CLEANING THE HOUSE and it just KEPT GOING. and it was GLORIOUS!

the vocal is some REAL SHIT!

When's this from @Jark?

I can't actually remember if I've heard it before. Is it a remix of an old rare groove song? Because that's what it sounds like.

This reminds me. My next moopy project is going to be a dive into 80s club & R&B. I hope you all support it. Imma going to be introducing you to some STONE COLD CLASSICS!

Yeast it sounds STRANGELY FAMILIAR. Although the bass line and bongos are reminiscent of the Frankie Knuckles remix from earlier.

it's from last year and it's all new. that's the MAGIC of it - it really does sound STRAIGHT from the VAULTS.

I genuinely couldn't remember if Aretha was dead or alive and had to look it up :(

I can't believe we're at the final song already!

I really wanted to slow things down for the last number - I discovered Who's Zoomin Who, which is a bit of an Aretha DEEP CUT, at the end of last year and was really gagged that it wasn't a big hit or anything. it's so beautifully 80s synthpop/post-disco. perfect closer.

@Jark this is an INSPIRED closer!

Fun fact: Aretha, like most of the soul legends, had kind of faded into the background in the late 70s but had a HUGE comeback in the mid 80s with "Jump To It" and "Who's Zooming Who", having some of the most successful sales of her career.

if anyone has any AFTERPARTY RECS, please do share. I'm not DONE DANCING!
