There's something about Jason DeRulo that really amuses me. I think it's his utter sincerity combined with his cosmic rubbishness.

That said, I actually think this is a BRILLIANT (if slightly annoying) pop song. It's very infectious. And of course it's about wanking.



I wish everyone had given all Chris Brown's post-Rihanna hits to him, he seems much more fun/less of a twat.

Oh I like all his singles, to varying degrees, In My Head is the best though. I really disliked this for a long time because of the chorus, but it really is infectious and eventually won me over.

He does have some CORKING singles. The albums didn't sell too well, especially the second, but he's still a singles artist so I imagine he'll get a crack at a third album at least in the digital age.

In My Head is a complete 10/10, infact most the singles are pretty damn good. It's/he's all just a bit *too* generic to take off I think.

I don't mind a bit of Jay Sean (noted 1.5 hit wonder) but DeRulo obviously did the whole thing with much more conviction. I can't say I'd give any of his singles more than a 6/10, however.

Jason Derulo is the male Keri Hilson. Brought in to impersonate and mimic someone already successful and producing some fairly decent stuff but has absolutely no staying power whatsoever. He barely scraped together a fanbase.

Chris Brown will always be "in a better position" because he actually has die-hard fans that will buy his dreck simply because his name is plastered on it and will follow him to the grave (and hopefully beyond that too). Jason Derulo simply doesn't have that.

I legitimately cannot think of a more anonymous popstar who will look as if they were utterly massive to future generations looking back over this era's number ones. In terms of hitting #1 with each album he's matching Rihanna at this stage - and even SHE didn't get one for anything off Rated R!
