Still a useful barometer of what the over 25s are considering a hit, this is at #4 on iTunes - the last single barely registered at all, even after the Graham Norton perf.
Sorry, but I'm beginning to get a little concerned for the album now. I don't dislike it, but just like I Could Get Used To This, it sounds like something that should be thrown out on a deluxe reissue. I don't think either qualifies for even second tier Jessie status.
this hits so hard. I'm obsessed. immaculate production omg. we're so used to hearing badly mixed pop songs these days. every element here (the synths, claps, sfx) is so crisp. and then her giant vocal comes in for that chorus. hats off to beb and Stuart Price for making a banger about riding dick sound so luxurious
I'm ready to declare this right up there with her best. potential SOTY!
apparently she pitched the "concept" of the video to James Norton and he immediately said yes. a gag if the concept is Jessie being horny with James Norton.
also the next single is Automatic with Colman Domingo on the intro as the voice of God.
I was quite disappointed by her comment on a recent podcast when discussing Toto's Georgy Porgy, that it featured Donna Summer or Gloria Gaynor... put some respect on Miss Cheryl Lynn's name.
Nope! Didn't even know it had been released. It's what I was waiting for, I have never fought so hard with a song the vocal is gorgeous but I can't bear the sample. The more I try, the more I dislike the song. This will be on heavy rotation.
