Aside from a slight dip in the middle it really is a glorious album. Her best to date. How generous of her to gift it to her gays.

As incredible as this album is - and it really is - Overtime is the best song (not) on it and possibly the best of her career. It's SO fucking gay and hearing her on a synthy deep house track really is deeply satisfying. I cannot understand why it was left off.

Brilliant album.

I just put Overtime on thinking about how it would fit on the album and I guess it is rather clubbier by comparison to much of it. Probably coming straight after Remember Where You Are wouldn't be the best placement. :D

We'll see if she comes through with this deluxe and if she has some equally high quality companion pieces tucked away.

LISTEN TO THE KILL IMMEDIATELY
I actually enjoyed this VERY much, thank you COBz. And Remember Where You Are has a 70s vibe which reminds me of the musical Hair and I like that a lot too.

The other song (tracks 1-10) is nice as well

Remember Where You Are gives me chills. It's so warm and romantic, it's kinda like a song you'd remember hearing on some late night show on Kiss FM circa 97 after an agony aunt segment on letting go of an ex, finding perspective and becoming your best self. Only you never got to know what it was because Shazam didn't exist then.

UTTERLY timeless - could be 70s, 90s or 20s and you wouldn't blink. A fucking triumph of a closer, and from what she's said it will be the blueprint for the next album.
AGREE! I absolutely love this sound and if this is where the next album is heading, consider me perched. I'm getting musty couch smell from it in the best possible way.

it’s a really stunning album with a vibe that just suits these muggy, hot heat summer evenings. I love that she’s gone here after Glasshouse, which I still enjoyed, this is much more in the Lane I want her in.

I expect my ratings to only improve with further listens. Sublime.
