Apols if this has been posted already, but I really like the Save A Kiss video.

The value of employing a GOOD VIDEO EDITOR. By far my fave of the lockdown music videos where you ask fans to send content in, it’s really quite stylish (and I love that they edited in the older gay in the Fred Perry, and didn’t make him look a mess either :D )



I’m also impressed with the budget she somehow managed to get for the Spotlight video. Whilst not a blockbuster, that shit would have been EXPENSIVE.

No idea. She says on Facebook that she's taking over Spotify's Instagram page, so perhaps it's on Instagram Live? Although it isn't explicit.

I wasn't sure whether to tag you in the listening party actually. On paper the music is right up your street, but I seem to remember you being underwhelmed by Jessie (not sure if I made that up) and we already had @dUb
 
Is there such a thing as midweeks these days? I'd quite like to see how this is doing.
 
The main risk of her dropping out the top 10 was all the Glastonbury at the weekend.
 
Why are there so many greatest hits / older albums in the album chart? I can't remember the last time I looked at the chart, but it's pretty grim looking.
 
I don't think there's any chance of her falling out of the top ten. I doubt Glastonbury's impact will be as significant as most years. And three of the acts below her in the top ten are new entries by acts likely to be even more frontloaded. I think she'll finish top five.

I’ve been entirely underwhelmed so far. The first album was ALRIGHT, the second was RUBBISH and I haven’t bothered with anything since. Everyone banging on about her being the second coming entirely bemused me, but YOU KNOW ME, I’m always willing to be proved wrong and I just fancied buying some new music yesterday while I was OUT AND ABOUT. I’ll give it a spin at some point.

Because sales are in the toilet and they are usually heavily discounted and also promoted on vinyl in shops. It’s such a shame.

I would give her third album a go. Seems pretty unpopular here (which I didn't realise) but it's got some of her nicest melodies on it IMO.

And the fourth album SMACKS SO HARD.
 
I will try album four and it’s disco leanings and get back to you TOUT DE SUITE.
 
You won’t like album 3, it’s a damper Squib watered album 2.

And that the only place you can buy music in an actual shop (particularly during lockdown, but it's not like there are that many more choices now anyway) now is supermarkets, who carry an ever narrowing range.

I’m probably fonder of album 3 as a whole and like album 2... but based on Shee’s comments if he liked 1 and hated 2 then 3 will not be for him
 
I don’t actively dislike Glasshouse. But I don't actively like it that much, either.

For me the rank is very clearly

This has probably also been covered already (and if not, WHY NOT?), but surely Remember Where You Are joins the ranks of best album closer ever.
 
It rounds up my top 3 QUEEN OF LIFE albums quite nicely - Fetch the Bolt Cutters at No. 1 bien sur, and Future Nostalgia in the runner up position. But Jessie W may well dethrone Dua. :disco:
 
VINYL GAYS - if you’re dithering on the white vinyl WYP I would take the plunge now as it’s selling out online :shock:

I had my order from one shop REFUNDED this morning as the well at the suppliers has officially RUN DRY!
 
IKR @Jark it's very the sonic vibe of the final scene of SATC if that show was actually still fabulous in 2020 and not deeply problematic
 
Cassettes are down to a fiver on her store, and the black vinyl/cd/cassette bundle is 25 now. The white vinyl is also available to order again although it says sold out so I just grabbed one.

Let's get her that top 3 she seemed hungry for on Instagram live tonight :disco:

Oh he's FUN and quite lovely. Wish he'd put some socks on mind.

:D at his Mirage (Don't Stop) CRITIQUE as well as his excitement at Remember Where You Are and its Aquafresh potential.
 
I think I’ll wait for the tour merch stand and see if there is a signed one
 
Holds at #3 in the chart update today, with sales increasing from 5.3k to 5.9k. The gap over #4 (Khruangbin) with 3.2k has increased, but I imagine it's Lewis Capaldi at #5 who is the bigger risk.
