This would annoy the shit out of terfs but I noticed that a kid in VRchat (not that they should be there really but that's besides the point) was automatically referring to people who hadn't expressed a gender as "they". Most people in there do honestly but it just seemed quite heartening to hear it from a squeaker. The next gen is going to be so much better at all this
 
Labour are done for me after all this. I'm in a safe Labour seat so it doesn't matter but I will not vote against LGBT rights ever. It's probably my number 1 decider on my vote because we can never go back to a Section 28 again (which is SO close to happening both from Tory and Labour when it comes to transgender people).

They just add in stuff like that so that people paying only a passing interest in this (arguably most people) don’t come away with the obvious conclusion.

My first thought.

Since there is no logic applied anymore to who gets banned for what, can we just ban TERFs for being cunts too?
 
I've seen a lot of people questioning why chess games are segregated by gender at all, but there's such a clear gender advantage in chess.

Women are too overpowered, with their ability to move seven squares in any direction.
 
This really piqued my interest and apparently it is because:

- Women started competitive chess much later than men (so the overall professional standard is lower as a result)
- With that in mind, there are women only tournaments to promote development of women’s chess without being subject to incessant defeat to men, pushing women out of the game
- Most tournaments are not segregated by gender


But who knows. That could all have been written by Joanne herself.
 
I’m a bit baffled by the Cheryl thing because, well, there have been numerous drag acts on Masterchef she is the third one. There was no outrage previously and it wasn’t that long ago

Oh and the name Cheryl Hole is derogatory to women as you shouldn’t be called their Vagina a hole 🙄

In lighter news, I'm enjoying that Stephen Nolan of the rancid 'Nolan Investigates Stonewall' BBC podcast has been exposed for being a bit of a weirdo, with bullying allegations and an obsession with booking [checks notes] Stephen Bear for his show in 2016, and sharing 'sexually explicit' pics of him round the office to campaign for this.

According to the Irish News, Nolan wrote a message saying: ‘I want Bear!’

He reportedly warned in another: ‘If I don’t get Bear tomorrow night I’m sending more bear photos.’

The publication claims to have seen messages containing the images, which were described as ‘beyond the pale’ by one of the recipients in an internal complaint sent to BBC Northern Ireland in 2018.

Former Celebrity Big Brother star Bear was booked for Nolan Live in 2016, with the programme seeing the two men strip down to their underpants in front of a live audience.

So the BBC has been criticised for a drag performer being allowed to compete on a show that is pre watershed as it's a family show, however an ex page 3 model is considered family friendly stuff? Might want to rethink that article and some of their choices

This was such a blatantly orchestrated attempt to progress the culture war. Glad that it fizzled almost immediately.
