Nah I went on her profile out of curiosity last week and looks like she's been on one for a while now. Alternating between that and thinly veiled cancel culture bitterness.

I'd seen the latter in something someone reposted to their Instagram, but not the former.

I always thought the comments initially were ROTTEN but, again, I feel it's another case of being emboldened by the radical TERFs behind her. As I've said many a time happens with people in sport.
 
Well, she will. That comment about the creative industries being a shambles a few months ago was because no-one will touch her with a shitty stick. Labels, producers, writers...no-one. Even Dr Luke would give her the swerve after all this.
 
If she dares to release another album and tours it, the receipts will be telling. I went to the royal albert hall gig, just as the transphobic comments were starting to drip out (Obviously my tickets were bought a long time before), and the crowd seemed to be largely LGBTQI+. She will have a shock coming when she can't sell more than a handful of tickets for a venue next time round.
 
Oh there were PLENTY of cunts who went and bought her album just BECAUSE of what she said...

I believe YES, most of the streaming apps (certainly Spotify) store offline data on listening stats, which it then "catches up" and syncs next time you connect online.

So we must all take a solemn vow to NEVER LISTEN to the evil Bring It Back Shing It Back woman ever again (and melt all of your old scratched Roisin CDs down into GLUE for good measure).
 
It wasn't until last night and I went on Instagram that I realised how big a pushback she was getting. So many people saying they feel betrayed by her and that her allyship was fake.

I wonder if Graham Linehan will get her to write the theme song for his sitcom with Rob Schneider...

I wonder why it's taken this long. She's also blocking everyone left, right and centre on X. She's clearly gone full pelt down the radicalisation route.

I lost her after Overpowered anyway (and that album was OVERRATED too), but very glad I've never been a massive fan.

I did wake up to her HONKING on Radio 6 this morning who play her REGULARLY still. I’ve got my EYES on you LAUREN LAVERNE!
 
yes but is doing polling framed around access to bathrooms actually the best way to gauge sentiment towards trans people among the public? the bathroom debate is so easily weaponised and a lot of people who only have surface level awareness of the discourse / don't hate trans people / might be quite socially liberal probably hear the question and think "oh but the bathroom needs to be a safe space" etc etc. I think my BROTHER said something along these lines once when I was slagging off JOANNE. the question does not seem designed to actually tell us anything about broader attitudes.

that said it is quite interesting to see how Italy (!), Germany and Spain are all around double as liberal as the UK if you take the poll question at face value. sadly I wonder if the anti-trans movement is just a few years behind in the rest of europe.
 
also, this is a 26 country study with 19,000 respondents - so I would be wary about a max of 1000 people being surveyed and that data being taken to reflect the attitudes of a country with 68m people
 
You can still gleam insight from 1,000 people. Of course I have no idea who the people were, what the intent of the pollster was or the methodology.

I think the question stands, it appears to be the point most people pivot, as much it makes sick in my mouth to consider how far we've allowed it to go.

no self respecting lez would go anywhere near the glinner. I really hope the simulation glitches just a little further and one of those dragon slayers accidentally slices him apart instead. he's certainly got the LIZARD SKIN and we could all just agree to mark it down as a happy accident.
