I might be over my post-corona fatigue. I say maybe because I had a few good days last week and then back to feeling absolutely squashed

I just can't seem to get a break at the moment. Last night Kylie had a bit of a fever, so in-between him needing meds throughout the night, I'm still battling my sore throat/ fever, the neighbours shouting in the street at midnight and keeping a van running for almost an hour blocking my driveway, and then Dannii waking up at 5am. I'm zonked. Currently waiting to pick up my click and collect shopping

it's impossible to establish a pattern. it's been almost four weeks now. at least I got my taste and smell back :disco:

Mr M seems to have it worse in a way as his symptoms are drawn out and has been going on more than a week now, whereas I had three intense days

Anyway, I'm out of the office until Wednesday with naff all to do cos my Xmas shopping is done, done and done. I'm listening to Nkisi and wonder where I could live if Scotland/UK became too hard.
 
It’s quite extraordinary that my parents have never ONCE managed to pick me up on time from the station.
 
I didn't know what mulled wine was until the Christmas markets started showing up in Glasgow. I assumed it was wine that had been duly considered and found to be acceptable.
 
is there a way to see somewhere who's changed their names? I'm worried about tagging for Jark.FM tonight :D *dances alone*
 
I love this old reel from a British inn where they make mulled wine and mulled ale (which is basically just sticking a hot iron rod into your jug)

 
I planned on doing some shopping to get my gift boxes, but my legs were like slinkies after the gym (god that felt good to be back), and I imagine the traffic in Glasgow to be just horrid so first thing tomorrow it is then. This month is going so fast.
 
I've just ordered catering for Xmas day. £75 for 10 portions, for the stress it'll save me it's worth every penny :o
