First "proper" single from JoJo's 4th album is out Jan 17th, it's called Gold.

Hopefully better than Sabotage.
 
Was Sabotage not the first proper single then, or have they just ditched it because it didn’t catch on? It definitely grew on me.

I’m always here for new JoJo.
 
Surely they don’t expect anything to take off? It’s been what 12 years since her last hit? Given Fuck Apologies couldn’t do much I doubt anything will. She seems to have a small but dedicated following so good that she can continue to churn out the tunes.

Since this post she has instead announced Small Things as the proper new single, out Friday 21st Feb

That's really interesting. She seems very intelligent and realistic. I hope she gets some success with this album.

Is the single from Mad Love that she essentially disowned 'Fuck Apologies'?
 
the single she didn't like the message behind is When Love Hurts from the "tringle" that came out before Mad Love. I'm not sure why. but she did later include a revised version of it on a mixtape so I think she likes the song itself. and she should as it's a fucking banger.
 
She didn’t like the message of the song, and has said that love shouldn’t have to hurt to feel ‘real’. Which is FAIR ENOUGH
 
That 'Tringle' was such a crap idea. She really has been cursed with bad record label decisions ever since they followed up Too Little Too Late with that dreadful How To Touch a Girl song.

It was a UK #21 smash!

I've been listening to the rerecorded albums tonight, it's interesting how her more mature vocal and the new vocal runs/adlibs give even the pop moments a smoother R&B feel. She really is a star for doing that.
 
'Anything' was amazing.

To hit #21, without a video (which in 2006 was the biggest promotion you got), was actually impressive. A full release could've seen it top ten.

She did do a live perf on GMTV though

Joanna was pretty popular, I'm surprised its not the intro.
 
Man is excellent. Very immediate, great production, a whole (9 track) album of this would go down very nicely
 
I haven’t stopped playing this today. The production is so lush and her voice just glides so effortlessly.

if there’s any justice this would be a massive smash for her.

"Think About You", the song she's recording in the new making of the album update, sounds really great.
