Just how prolific is Ethan Hawke?!

All jokes aside though - I don't think we talk about actors enough on Mopsty. We talk a lot about musicians and singer songwriters, pop stars etc. but not so much 'actors'.
So I've been in an Ethan Hawke filmography wormhole and oh my.. he's quite prolific (workaholic!) but also quite versatile with his choices (not just in film but also theatre!).

I watched Sinister in broad daylight with my front door open so I could hear people outside. I’m not a squeamish or easily scared person but there’s something about that film that REALLY got under my skin.

Prolific isn’t always good, considering the number of actors who go for those straight to DVD/streaming cookie cutter action films. It’s weird that Nic Cage still makes those amongst a mixture of actual prestige movies.

I like Ethan Hawke on the whole. He was also good in Moon Knight and put together than whole Paul Newman project called The Last Movie Stars, which was excellent.

I have Predestination and Boyhood to watch. Both highly rated. No excuse not to watch Predestination as I have it on Blu-ray and literally available as a download on this iPad I’m currently tapping on….

It was a bit too long and the ending was… hmmm.

I agree with this.. the pacing was a bit eh.. but I liked the ending!
