Totally missed that the version of Our Last Summer has nearly triple the Abba version, and is outpacing it daily by over 2:1.

At least the version of Slipping Through My Fingers caused more people to discover the original in big numbers.
 
Just looking at Amanda Seyfried's stats, and both Lay All Your Love On Me (244m) and Honey Honey (223m) beat Meryl. They are both also streaming over 100k daily, and in the case of Honey Honey, about double the total of the Abba version, both in terms of total and daily streams.

Christine Baranski's Does Your Mother Know has 120m.

Piers Brosnan's When All Is Said And Done is on 48m, but Abba's is only on 42m. And the gap seems to still be slightly growing :gross:
 
I've met evil people who have no interest in ABBA, but love Mamma Mia.

They should, frankly, have their fingers broken.
 
Mamma Mia is HUGE so these numbers make sense. For a lot of people, this is the only they know the songs.
 
I know it WAS huge, I'm just amazed it still is. But then in the UK at least it feels like one of the films is on ITV2 every other week, which must help those streams tick over.

And I guess it's one of the reasons why Abba Voyage is aiming its marketing so squarely at younger people now. There's an untapped market there, and for the older audience, they are already locked in or uninterested.

I’m now picturing a teenager being taken to see ABBA Voyage and thinking that they really enjoyed those Meryl Streep covers

Queen are considerably bigger in terms of total streams, but Fleetwood Mac are certainly currently bigger.
 
I think The Beatles still have more depth than either of them, maybe in the number of songs over 100m, but I agree.

It's consistency though, isn't it? They are just grinding away pushing up those numbers while literally hundreds of other acts have come and gone above them in the streaming era. They may be having more of a moment currently, but even if/when that fades, they won't be going anywhere.
 
Queen are in the Billion Club nine times, Fleetwood Mac, Guns and Roses and AC/DC four times, Metallica, Bon Jovi and Creedence Clearwater Revival three times, ABBA and Toto twice and the Beatles (and many others) once.
 
I had to check CCR, my first thought was "I can only think of Proud Mary" and that isn't even one of the three!
 
The Eagles only have one (Hotel California) as well, as much as it is over 2bn. Take It Easy isn't so far off with 860m, but at the current daily rate it will be 2027 before it hits a billion.
 
I know he's not a BAND so it's entering different territory, but had to check Elton because he's the other act that seems to hover at the top of the charts constantly. Not sure about other markets but he is a global success so it would make sense. Anyway yeah the numbers are huge, although not sure how they would compare to the acts above.
