Kalavision II: Speed It Up - Submission Period CLOSED

Is there a way I can search whether a song has been entered in a previous ASFM? I don't think the archived threads are searchable are they?

I don't think so. I have been thinking we need a ASFM master list now we have had so many. It also helps with making sure the same artist doesn't keep getting selected multiple times.

There's a masterlist in the secret host forum, although it hasn't been updated for a little while. I think I can add the missing ones, so @Kalabaliken might be able to check for you by searching that thread only.

I have submitted my goods to Kala

I had another one ready which I prefer but I wanted to save that for a longer ASFM so it can BED IN. Turns out I probably should have just sent it anyway as everyone will end up thinking the same thing.

Just submit the song and the answers to these questions will reveal themselves in the fullness of time.
 
A few songs received overnight, but we still haven't hit 30 yet. I didn't expect us to get our usual 40, because of the short submission period, but it would be nice to get some more. I MAY leave the submission period open till 5pm. I can't really do anything until I finish work anyway and it only takes a short while to create a playlist on both Spotify and YouTube.

So keep them coming in! I will be tagging again at 11am, and every hour after that! So come on girlies - fill my box up!
 
As I said to @Rita in a PM, the shortness of the songs means it won't take long to listen to them - at the moment about an hour and a half, and definitely no more than 2 hours. The point of a speed round is to get your first impression, so you need only listen to them once, or maybe twice at a push.

Plus you do NOT want to miss out on the voting I have planned. There will be CATFIGHTS! :disco:

I won't be here for the live show tonight (not out but my mum is here so she might not appreciate all the nonsense), but I will catch up ASAP.
 
What times the live show? I have an appointment this evening but will catch up if timings conflict
 
Let's face it, there are going to be 30+ three minute songs all trying to grab the attention from the very first second. The live show is going to be like getting attacked by a swarm of bees.
