Okay yes I was Monaco. Claudia Phillips is quite a bizarre anomaly in the French pop scene, a native New Yorker, she caused quite a scene and then literally disappeared. “ Quel souci La Boétie“ comes from the 1989 album Blackjack, which is experimental pop that 1980s Moopy would have enjoyed. The song is about civil disobedience, as sixteenth century Boetie at the time was close friends( :eyes: )with poet Montaigne. Everything Claudia did at the time was a little bit left of centre and I thought she should be celebrated.

We told each other earlier via pm whilst having a little CHAT. I meant I won’t REVEAL it as it’s up to Iggy, I have the soul of a saint :angel:
 
It doesn’t matter though does it, the votes can’t be changed now. We may as well all reveal

It's not going to change the result, but it's more about the fact that if I were hosting the show, I'd be pissed off if someone took doing the reveals away from me... (because I'd have made a big deal out of the reveal in the early part of the thread).

It would be like running The Masked Singer but just cutting the last 5 minutes of the show when they reveal who the singer is and putting it in The Sun the night before instead.

That's why I thought twice about doing it.

But what's done is done now.

Everyone get on and REVEAL!

Which you knew because I went out in the semi finals on account of you all having no conception of what good music sounds like.

Not that I'm bitter.
 
I really wanted to enter Clara Luciani for Iguanavision but it’d have been TOO obvious :(
