Has anybody watched this yet? It's a modernised version of Greek myths. I actively avoid Mr F when he starts papping on about Greek mythology so I wasn't going to watch it but I saw the trailer and thought I'd give it a go in a moment of boredom on Saturday morning. Ended up watching all of the episodes and it left me wanting more immediately.

The acting is amazing and there are a lot of famous faces and well-respected actors and actresses. Dionysus is also the most gorgeous man on the planet.

I may watch SOLELY for Janet McTeer - I was a bit obsessed with her when I was a teenager and remain a fan. Speaking of greek mythology, I had a front row ticket to see her in Phaedra last year at the National Theatre and she was fucking incredible.

The first minutes i was shooketh with the artistic freedoms and thought am going to hate it, but am actually loving it and tbh so far I think it's a pretty good adaptation. I give this a 9 and am open to changing this to a 10 if it keeps like this to the end.

Ended up really enjoying this. I know disparate parts of Greek mythology but rarely to the point of knowing the names of the people involved in the specific story, so that made it an interesting watch as I had flashes of recognition of plot points.

Hera was amazing. I thought I was a massive racist for thinking Dionysus was basically Mawaan Rizwan but it was his brother, Nabhaan Rizwan. I wonder if they both auditioned for the part?

I wish Suzy Eddie Izzard had more screen time though

It can't have been cheap and it didn't seem to hang around very long in their UK top ten at least.

They don't seem to mind continuing cheaper stuff that don't make it to the charts at all. They're on their content quantity over quality era.
