Super talented triple threat
I must say I was not expecting much from this at all. It initially seemed like a cash-in to finalise Cobra Kai.
I gave up on Cobra Kai after the first couple of episodes of the final series, just because it was getting too ridiculously OTT violent.
This film however is NOT THAT. You don’t need to have watched Cobra Kai at all to appreciate it, as it’s very much its own entity, with new characters that you care about. I was shocked at how much I enjoyed it. And before going in I had no idea Joshua Jackson was even in it, and now he’s a hot dad!
Honestly, I had so much fun with this film, it felt like I was watching something from the 90s, in a time when family films were generally made for everyone to appreciate.
