Season two is a bit of a low point for me, but season three (aka Stranger Things goes to the MALL ) was an improvement and the fourth season is the best since the first, for me at least.

I only became a fan at the end of that period, but I think at least this time we were sort of expecting it - that initial 12 year gap came out of the blue I imagine!
