I don't usually like music videos with sound effects intruding on the music, but the wedding punch up fits quite well with the ambience.

The long dead Y Bar on Essex Road. We never got paid (which was the cause of multiple arguments instigated by me) so I always thought, well, fuck you, I’m playing whatever the fuck I want :disco:

I have the same story, from her perspective. Khia was a favourite at my primary school.
 
Of all the playlist finales, this one most clearly evokes the certainty of the lights coming on to reveal a horrible provincial nightclub. I think that's a compliment.

05 Labrinth - Earthquake - don't like the R&B/electro mish mash stuff generally but this does sound great in a club/festival

99 Solange - Losing You - quite literally the greatest song in the history of ever. In all seriousness, it's between this and one other song for the best song of the century so far for me. Just can't cope with how perfect this song is.
08 Marving Gaye - Sexual Healing (Kygo) - Kygo can be samey but sometimes he gets it spot on. Love this

06 Pet Shop Boys - Undertow - not my favourite PSB but good. PSB have really grown on me over the years, they were always TOO GAY for me growing up but I've learnt to appreciate their talents

11 3 Jays - Feeling It Too - really? :D I didn't think anyone else knew this. Classic late 90s funky house. Reminds me of my first holiday in Ibiza, Sonique played this song while DJing in my first night there and I LOST MY SHIT. The club version has a really long breakdown which makes the song even better

08 Simple Minds - Promised You A Miracle. I also LOVE Simple Minds. Again I prefer their peak mid/late 80s stuff to their earlier stuff but I like anyway
07 Erasure - Who Needs Love - I always think of Erasure as the best example of a band you don't pay much attention to but you put their greatest hits on and you like every single song.
