Katie Gavin - What A Relief

MUNA's Katie Gavin has announced her debut solo album.

The vocalist has confirmed that she'll release 'What A Relief' through Phoebe Bridgers’ Saddest Factory Records on October 25. Introducing the LP, which boasts a Mitski feature on the track As Good As It Gets, Gavin commented:

"This record spans a lot of my life – it’s about having a really deep desire for connection, but also encountering all the obstacles that stood in my way to be able to achieve that, patterns of isolation or even boredom with the real work of love."

I feel like it's coming next year and this is just a quick thing. all the tour dates are this year.

the song is very Kind of Girl. it's cute and could easily be taken from self titled. I like!

This has crept up on me a bit and I love it now. Definitely some classic singer songwriter influences... she's said this is like a bridge between Muna and the rest of the solo album so interested to see where it goes.
