we joke but despite the lower peak (14 or something) this hung around for ages and is probably an equal or bitter hit in real terms than Chained to the Rhythm.

I was always confused why this wasn't bigger than it was. It's amazing!

I definitely agree it is in the running for her best song.
 
Absolutely her best song by an absolute mile. Probably the only Katy Perry song I'd ever actually CHOOSE to play, aside from perhaps BON APPETIT for the lolz.

Deserved to be as big as Roar was. And yes Daisy was absolute screechy SLOP. A disaster.

I meant because it was a whole discussion in the thread at the time! Dagny was credited and wrote a nice post about how KP got in touch with her to ask permission and she's a huge fan so she was thrilled. 😇

Not sure how that was 2 years ago and not 6 mind...
 
I do think Never Really Over is a better song than Love You Like That though. both great, but NRO brings more hooks and goes a bit harder and has more killer production and a much stronger vocal to anchor it all. LYLT is a rush nonetheless.

maybe she should write the next KP OPUS.
