My first play of the Strange Little Girls album was on a drive to Coventry (don't ask) and really enjoyed it. 'Even Though Our Love is Doomed' stood out.

We also have two covers (one sad, one SEXY!) and an apocalyptic VISION.

Is it bad to say that the weird leopard print 'G' logo on the cover really turned me AGAINST Strange Little Birds? I might have only given it one listen and I blame that

I do think this might be the highlight of Strange Little Birds though, it just builds and builds. Never quite what they were capable of before but no bad effort. It's hypnotic by the end

Oh wow now this felt like a kind of return to form but doing something actually new and exciting at the same time. More please! I'm excited for the new stuff which I really really wasn't before the last few albums...

Soldier Through This is my favorite Garbage song and one of my favorite songs PERIOD. Why it was a b-side and not a 10 week number 1 I don't understand. Talk about the best verse melody of ALL TIME. I don't know that much Garbage but OMG at this one

It weirdly didn't fit into any of their sounds at the time, you'd think it was a bside from the BG era but it was Version 2.0 (I think?). But it's still 100% them, I don't know it's just a lot "cleaner" than their usual output. But staggering!
