yes paid autoplay deals have been in place since the start of the year.

I'd say a more direct comparison is the radio deals like being played hourly on iheartradio that were very commonplace in the 2010s.
 
Radio doesn’t count towards charts and certifications though.

Twitter was so mad at the tail end of 2022 when The Weeknd's Die for You did this (and worked!) but a bunch of users were posting evidence, every time you'd play a current charting song from back then (Anti-Hero, Kill Bill, etc) Die for You followed through. I even tried it :D
 
Also getting this played constantly on Spotify. The amount of times I've had to SKIP this horror.
 
Kim Petras is an awful popstar, having some bops doesn't always translate into star power nor justifies her fame, no matter how many Grammys she can buy.
Although, kudos to her for being a mainstream representation of the Trans community.
 
Really enjoying that they got bullied into releasing a new version with MORE DONK



It is definitely better, but it is still not living up to what these two and this sample should really have achieved.
