I had no idea Bucks Fizz did this first. I guess it was a Tina original in the sense that she released it first. But why so many people sat on it for so long, I’m not entirely sure about.
 
We do NOT need a new version of Ain't Nobody. The original is perfection enough. And Ain't Nobody can sing it like Chaka can.

Ain't Nobody cannot be touched and it has already been touched enough. I love LL Cool J but I refuse to listen to that track...
 
There have been so many variations on Ain't Nobody over the years, it must be one of the songs from that era that EVERYBODY recognises today. Another cover/remake is pointless.

I just meant Ain't Nobody would be the obvious choice of next cover version if they wanted a lazy hit

I think another Whitney deep-ish cut would be the way to go personally - I'm Your Baby Tonight or All The Man That I Need are not particularly well-remembered in the UK, and would fit perfectly to the template.

oh no, please don't! This was done not so long ago and it STILL receives airplay for some reason, fuck Felix Jaehn and fuck Robin Schultz, truly an awful period for that tropical pop hype.

Omg yuk, it’s not so much the tropical house I dislike, it’s the shaky wastrel vocal. Ellie Goulding has a lot of explaining to do.

how did someone describe that genre of vocals recently? It was spot on but I can’t remember it

This debuted at number 40 this week, which is maybe a little lower than I was expecting, but Higher Love started at 36. So it seems on par.
 
Has done extremely well on downloads, I don't think it's left the iTunes Top Ten since it was released.
 
Why is it streaming so poorly? Did Higher Love have a similar imbalance?

at first but streaming recovered when radio picked up. Pop songs generally just don't do well on streaming, it's so overwhelmingly grime and US hip-hop.
