It's basically quite a "chill" disco kinda vibe, almost like a mellow beachy sound, except it's EXTREMELY FAST and EXTREMELY HIGH PITCHED.

There's a kind of middle 8/recurring post-chorus moment that goes "MONDAY TUESDAY WEDNESDAY THURSDAY FRIDAY IT'S THE WEEKEND" or something and it's serving REBECCA BLACK. It's quite unbelievable.

there is quite a KIDZ BOP vibe to the entire thing musically and lyrically which might not be to all tastes.

I'm sure the Steps fangirls will love it though.

Ok. Supernova. Had. To. Stop. This album feels a bit relentless. I'm not even half way through it and I feel like I need a bit of a sit down. I'm going to pick it up again during the FLP tomorrow

I don't get this at all. It's all very FULL ON for me but not necessarily in a juevenile way. Grateful to get to Say Something. Absolutely needs a softer, more refined moment. If there is no disco ballad on the full track list then it's missing a trick

Miss A Thing and Real Groove would not sound out of place on Body Language so naturally I love them both. I do think Real Groove rips a bit from Dua in its style though and it really needs to fade out at the end

SUPERNOVA is SO Olivia Newton John. This album is basically all of her childhood disco influences bunged into a blender - ONJ, ABBA, Donna Summer... It’s almost too reverent towards her idols.

Monday Blues is much better than that Rebecca Black trash but WTH Kylie it totally sounds like a follow up to that song!

Final comment, promise - one criticism I have of this record is that Kylie’s voice (and I know this cannot be helped to some extent) does sound somewhat layered on top of the backing tracks - nowhere is this more apparent than on Where Does The Dj Go? It has a bit of a karaoke vibe.

I do actually. I think her comments about Say Something being somewhat the outlier prepared me for a different kind of album (i.e. It tempered my expectations).
