I feel like it definitely served a purpose, and the album was almost a reset moment for her. You got the sense that she was enjoying herself again more when she performed it. But yes, not one of my favourites either.

I quite like it but always thought it could do with a modern rejig to make it less country pastiche. Surprised Steve Anderson hasn't attempted it.

I don't dislike it but would never put this on. but I could enjoy it live. it's just too tinny on record

I think its one of her more recent ones that she can really wheel out to get the non loons/fair weather fans going, as proved by adding it to the Tension setlist. A song like Dancing is never going to not go down well in for a big gig ie arena or even festival where all the crowd may not be there just for Kylie.
