it always baffled me that she says FOR the scissor sisters

I always thought that may just be a clunky 'edit' for the live album, no? She doesn't say that on the video.. unless the audio is recorded from a different night....

As for 'White Diamond', I have to say that time has not been so kind to the dance version in terms of production etc. It sounds like Kylie Minogue singing for the Scissor Sisters. I actually prefer the ballad version nowadays. A great song whichever way you slice it..

The elements that sound like they're directly from the record (the whistling, the little surf guitar riff) are great. You never know how it would've sounded but i choose to believe it was a classique in studio form.

It's such a fucking great song in demo format - I can only imagine how brilliant it would have been with a few more bells and whistles

Well the version that Kish Mauve released is pretty fine too and not a million miles from the Kylie demo, if a little harder sounding (not to say that a final Kylie version wouldn't have been even better).
