Back down 2 to 51 today, seems like it might be plateauing unless something can give it an extra kick.

Solid hold on Spotify though, and what a bloody fantastic result in the official chart.
Kylie at #12 with a solo single in 2023, and not from sales only (though they helped, she’d still be top 30 without them) nor a one week wonder. No one could’ve picked this six weeks ago.

Tell me you wouldn’t have all killed for this a couple months ago
Also I don’t think the CD singles should be an excuse for her getting Top 20, they’re just as legit as any streaming numbers… Lewis Capaldi and others reached number one because of physical sales this year. Doesn’t matter how she did it, she did it

Not enough versions!
One for album, one for single?
She’s still ahead of last week on Spotify (#57 last Thursday vs #51 now), so it’s still growing even if not hugely. It bucked the trend last Friday and jumped up to #43 despite all the new releases, so with the weather being stunning (down South anyway) and it’s high placement on party playlists it’ll be interesting to see tomorrow if she can do that again.
With the new digital versions I’d hope she can happily stay top 20 next week and start racking up the chart run.

She was played thirty mins ago on Radio One as well as part of their Anthems. Another play during the chart will be twice in three hours which is showing they at least do give it the occasional spin which is better than nothing.

They played it last Friday and the one before, so they should so again with such a leap (I know they didn’t on Sunday, but they did the Sunday before so they’re still at a 75% strike rate).

Loreen is too old for them at 39 despite four weeks and counting in the top ten. It ain’t happening…

They didn’t really say anything. Virtually ever other song got a bit of DJ hype before playing it, or at least a mention of its chart trajectory.

They also played it when it was #18 on first look two weeks back.
It’s annoying, but I don’t think it really matters that much. She has Capital and Kiss so she has that demographic covered perfectly decently. I imagine she’s #1 on airplay this week, so it doesn’t really matter - the radio one playlist doesn’t exactly mirror the chart all that much anyway. But yes, would be nice to get a few weeks on the C list at least.
