Kylie - Tension II (Album XVIb) (1 Viewer)

Hmmm, I didn’t like any of the collabs so I don’t have any of my usual Kylie excitement/interest for this. The completist in me might hold out to see what deluxe package inevitably follows.

She’s on a run of four UK #1 albums, I wonder how this one will hold up?

Tbf he just said he hasn't heard them. Not a long term solution (other than from you know where).
 
My Oh My being the opener, as much as I don't mind it, does not fill me with excitement and also feels a bit wrong..
 
is this like a Fame Monster situation or what? I'm so confused. it feels a bit label-driven super deluxe edition with My Oh My track one and Dance Alone and the other collabs tacked on for the streaming points...

is this a precursor to a new album? or is this the new album? @Eddie to confirm

The nearest comparison is what @Pingu said, it's a PART II that is absolutely not made up of leftovers from PART I, has the same feel of PART I but isn't PART II and can the fans buy all formats of both please.

And also allows her to tour under one banner.
 
Do we know how many (if any, I guess) of the new tracks ARE new and not holdovers?

And as far as touring under the Tension banner, she's going to have to leave out a lot of the tracks anyway isn't she, considering the sheer number now and the weight of the back catalogue she always includes. I hope she doesn't completely pay dirt to Disco.
 
I think Hello is the only leftover though I pray it's a different song because I'm not keen on the one that leaked last year.

Also some songs such as Night Owl and Got Me Good are conspicuous by their absence. I'm guessing they will end up being the digital only exclusives for this album
 
Struggling to be at all excited at the moment. Hopefully it'll grab me at some point soon.
 
A snippet of Someone For Me is out there. It's quite different for her. :o
 
The vocal reminds me of the one on the original version of Come Into My World before it was re-recorded .

I've linked you to it many times including when Kylie's last single leaked not two months ago - not my problem if you didn't think to save or make a note of the website :D
 
See, I certainly know what a leak site is in THEORY. I used to frequent them myself before streaming, but that was ten years ago! I had no idea whether or in what form they were still a thing, that there was one in particular that was a one-stop shop, or that I should have discerned that to be the case from a link to something I was sent once. :D

I'm not sure it's (only) an age thing. It's partly that there's a handful of posters doing their very best to turn Moopy into an offshoot of Popjustice, which is fantastic on one hand because they're doing the lord's work in posting the bulk of the new music I discover on here. But on the other hand there's perhaps an assumption of the level of base knowledge that there would be on one of those sites that there just isn't here where I'd guess the majority aren't specifically here to actively share or discover new pop...

Anyway rant over, I'll bookmark this Dupree site or whatever it's called. Delighted to be thundering into the 21st century with the rest of you. :)
 
At the rate at which Kylie leaks, surely it's useful to bookmark the site?

Though to be fair, the recently leaked "B Film" is NOT on the usual site.

OK I'll let that one go for now, I can only familiarise myself with one new concept at a time (I assume that IS an age thing).
