:padam:

She's only giving SWEETNESS and LIGHT, but I didn't want her to feel left out

She's only giving SWEETNESS and LIGHT, but I didn't want her to feel left out from this little emoji party
Can you imagine what she's going to be doing in the inevitable Hobbycraft video to this? :disco:

I want her off her face with the mascara running.

A version that liposucks the verses out (sorry, the vocal) as the chorus turns it into a side-splitter. On the 6 for pre-chorus and the 59 for the chorus (which is a 90s dance avalanche).

Haven’t listened to it all yet but the piano house bit is EXACTLY the same wholesale rip off that Katy Perry’s Lifetimes is, and yet this is a banger?

Ok gays, stay consistent :eyes:

We hate Katy but we love Kylie

GET INTO IT LAFUNK

I think I've figured out why the different intro and outro are really affecting my enjoyment of the song (like, in a dropping from a 9 to a 6 kind of way).

The original intro with all the little 80s synthy bits made the whole thing sound a bit more "Kylie" as opposed to "dance track with Kylie's vocals on it." And then yes the body of the song is exactly the same, but I enjoyed it previously on the condition of it all building towards a euphoric drop, which the demo(?) version eventually did, as opposed to the official version where it just jumps straight into an outro. It just kind of feels like it's edging without payoff now.

Still excellently produced, but just not the behemoth I thought it was.

So they pulled a Rebel Heart Madonna moment and reworked an excellent demo into something worse for release because it leaked :D

I think I do probably prefer the leaked version but the one released doesn't detract from it being a banger nonetheless. I'm not sure I would take three off the final score because of it though.

Also the leaked version is not a demo but just a different mix.
I'm just in the habit of referring to anything that isn't the final released mix as a demo; it tends to get (mis)used a lot in Eurovision discourse.

Seems disproportionate at a glance but then again the intro and outro are a third of the running time, so I don't see it as minor changes.

Anyway I'll stop banging on about it now.

Bollocks. The flow in the leaked version IS better. Hopefully they've filmed the video to that.

I also agree that the other mix/demo is better. Do something Blessed Madonna!

Kylie being her usual cute self and confirming that she is also having a brat summer:

Also that eyeliner looks great on her. :disco:
